The Ballroom at the Prado in Balboa Park is a wedding photographer's dream shoot! With stunning architecture, a lot of space and the high standards set by the venue, it's always a great place to get photos. And there's a secret little hatch that lets a photographer get an overhead shot of the whole thing! This one was set up for Osiris and Sam's wedding, but it's always this beautiful.
This image was shot with a Canon 5D mkIII and Tamron 15-30 f2.8 VC lens. That lens is downright amazing, sharp from edge to edge and great color. It has a minimum focus of 4 inches, which lets you get some amazing perspectives on subjects. Of course, that doesn't come into play here, just the sharpness and color. The 5D mkIII's high ISO capability lets this shot get done with nothing more than available light and still looks very low-noise.
