Details, details, details. Details are fun for everyone at a wedding, not just the photographers. Details will make a wedding look elegant, fun, funky or just plain happy!
To get this shot, interestingly, we used a wide angle zoom, our new(ish) and well loved Tamron 15-30. It has a minimum focus distance of 4" which can give us an really different point of view for photos.  Stopped down a little to give good depth of field, and a great image is the result.

Technical jargon is all well and good, but technique is what gets good images. That's what we at Shadowcatcher Imagery feel we excel at. Wedding photography, particularly in San Diego, where there are a lot of photographers competing in one of the most beautiful wedding destinations in the country, is a very personal thing.
