Wow! Our red umbrella! We love our red umbrella! Dull day? Need a little color? Throw in a red umbrella!! Simple, problem solved, right! Bright day, lots of color? Need to make a couple stand out? There’s that red umbrella. It’s funny, as photographers in the San Diego area we rarely have to put up with bad weather, so you wouldn’t think we’d have a need for umbrellas that much. But we have an assortment we use a lot. Not just for weddings and engagement sessions, but for family photo sessions and for senior photography, too.
Parasols, too, make great accessories for brides and we have several and are always happy to bring them along. They help bring us those fun and timeless wedding day photos of the bride and groom!
This photo was taken on a wedding day at Pacific Views Event Center that threatened rain from the very beginning, but held off until the very last of the wedding. So, undoubtedly, the red umbrella played a part in telling the story of their day, besides breaking up the gray of the skies. A little back lighting and it’s the perfect image on an imperfect but wonderful day! We have had the pleasure of capturing many weddings at The Pacific Views Center and are recomended by many to photograph weddings at this venue.
