We caught this couple sharing the pre-meal prayer in a very intimate moment. We'll wait until the instant the officiant ends the prayer to shoot something like this, so as to not reduce the solemnity with a flash going off or a shutter sound. Because of its classic composition and subject, this just begged to be done in monochrome or black and white. We think it worked very well.
Again, shot with that Canon 70-200 f2.8L IS so that we could stay well back from the couple and not intrude. This lens is an absolute necessity for wedding photographers, even if you use primarily single focal length lenses. It gives a photographer a lot of flexibility in situations where they can't "zoom with your feet!"
