As I said somewhere else, sunsets and backlighting are our thing, our schtick, our milieu. But sometimes, a simple silhouette is more effective that classically "correct" lighting. The archway of vines, the reflective pathway and the sun perfectly beaming between the couple would have been lost with fill light. Her veil caught the light just as we wanted, making this a great shot!
It was shot with a Canon 5D mkIII, Canon 24-70 f2.8L and...no lights at all! Heheheheheh... Sometimes being a great wedding photographer means not doing what you're supposed to do. It's all about the art and the client!
